Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Why Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training?

Lean Six Sigma Black Belts spend most of their time in measuring, structuring and analyzing the performance problems. Black Belts roles are quite different from other Lean Six Sigma roles. The primary purpose of Black Belt professionals is to provide project leadership. Black Belts are highly trained in the art of improving results using lean concepts and advanced statistical analysis techniques. Black belts can understand the team dynamics and can assign the roles and responsibilities to team members. Black Belts understand the concept of variation; a concept many leaders do not appreciate or simply ignore. Variation is truly the enemy of quality and is the primary source for emotional decision making. Reducing variation is the foundation for improvement, thus Black Belts lead the charge in reducing variance in processes so that results can more easily be improved. Black Belts take the lead in teaching and counseling operations personnel and business leaders on how to reduce variation, make better decisions and ultimately improve results. Black Belts have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the DMAIC model in accordance with Lean Six Sigma principles. Black Belts have the ability to train Yellow & Green Belts and also get support from Master Black Belts.
